Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of janitorial services for specific locations. Will ensure client satisfaction and maintaining operational efficiency. This role ensures that all cleaning services are delivered on time, at the required quality standards, and within budget. Supervises the janitorial staff, manages supplies and equipment, and works closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Resource Management:
  • Manage and lead cleaning teams, including staff, supervisors, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure that the project team is well-trained and properly equipped to meet service delivery standards.
Client Relations & Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs, provide project updates, and address any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for further business.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure that all cleaning services meet or exceed the company’s quality standards and the client’s expectations.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of cleaning services.
  • Ensure that all safety, health, and environmental regulations are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
  • Develop project budgets and ensure that the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Track expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment, and provide cost analysis reports to management.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards of service.
Scheduling & Resource Optimization:
  • Manage project timelines and ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate scheduling of cleaning tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Optimize the use of resources (staff, supplies, equipment) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk Management & Problem Solving:
  • Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve any project issues or conflicts that arise, whether related to staff, equipment, or client expectations.
  • Proactively address challenges such as tight deadlines, unexpected service requests, or resource shortages.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Project Manager experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the cleaning/janitorial field.
  • Previous 1-3 years Supervisory experience.
  • Valid state driver’s license (must have a clean driving record).
  • Must have personal transportation.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to write basic business documents.
  • Demonstrate good basic math skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate mature communication skills.
  • Have excellent attendance.
  • Good growth potential for this position.
  • Knowledge of janitorial processes, equipment, and cleaning techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
